Its the consistency of this cream that I love! It's not too dry but soft and creamy which makes it glide on easily. Some retinols I've used in the past were pasty and difficult to apply. I also think absorption of this cream is better because of its texture. Retinol definitely improves fine lines and wrinkles. I've used it for years and I can see a difference if I stop using it. So ease of application is everything to me! The question remains how long it will last related to price. The container is small and you can't see the product. A benefit is you can use less due to the creamy texture. So hopefully it will last several weeks. At the very least one month with nightly application.

I’m using this in conjunction with the time defying moisturizer. I’ve always struggled with skincare and after only using this about a week and a half my skin is already softer and smoother.
At 72 I’ve tried many products and most really don’t work well. I love retinal that does the trick but doesn’t leave my face with red patches.
